  5. The Cabinet Face Releases Five New Material Options

On Friday, October 2nd, The Cabinet Face released five (5) new material offerings to kick off the Fall season and provide more options to the growing market for custom fronts on IKEA® cabinet systems. Consumers are more interested than ever in creating their dream home with materials traditionally found only in high-end, costly custom cabinets, by creating savings using IKEA® cabinets and custom fronts. In particular, popular demand for White Oaks and textured finishes showed that consumers are invested in the specific materials that adorn their homes, and The Cabinet Face was happy to answer their call.

Carrara White Textured Melamine offers a warmer tone compared to its cooler relative, Designer White Textured Melamine, while being just as beautiful and versatile in both slab and shaker forms. Brushed White Oak is an elevated natural wood slab with a unique wire brush technique that removes a small portion of the grain, while White Ash features a rich blond tone combined with an oak-like texture. Lastly, American Rift White Oak Shaker was inspired by our popular Rift Sawn Oak Slab material, is a solid wood shaker material with a very linear grain pattern to give a more uniformed appearance.

Each material is available for orders starting today. You can learn more about them below and order a sample, or you can find them in their corresponding category sample set. If you have plans readily available and you’d like to get a free estimate for a project with these new materials, or any of our 120 material offerings, click here to upload your plans to get your project started!
